ASML
At ASML, research focuses on next generation functional and structural materials through the development of powder manufacturing and blending technologies, powder forming and consolidation techniques, and advanced characterization methods. By integrating a fundamental understanding of powder properties with applied processing technologies, The aim is to correlate material–process–performance relationships and experimentally elucidate the underlying electromagnetic, mechanical, and thermal properties of alloys. The objective of this research is to contribute to the development of innovative materials for future applications.
The main research fields are as follows:
Advanced powder metallurgy processes
High-entropy alloys
Phase change materials
Hydrogen storage materials & Hydrogen catalyst
Metal additive manufacturing
Reactive high energy density materials
